This past week at the South Plains Chapter of the American Chemical Society annual banquet, Frenship High School senior Thomas Wylie was announced as a National Finalist for the National Chemistry Olympiad. Additionally, Nancy Schunke was named the society’s Chemistry Teacher of the Year.
Frenship ISD is proud to announce that Terra Vista Middle School Head Band Director Roel Sanchez has been awarded the Lubbock Christian University Award for Excellence in Teaching.
Bradley Hughes, a 2005 Frenship graduate made his very own documentary about the life of World Champion Bull Rider, Lane Frost. Through the people closest to Lane Frost and bull riding champions of today, the documentary dives into the story of a cowboy who left his mark on Western culture and rodeo sports. FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 4.873% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $48.73.
