The Frenship High School Softball Team brought home the gold in the District 2-6A competition. The Tigers are advancing to the first round of playoffs this Friday, April 26.
This past week at the South Plains Chapter of the American Chemical Society annual banquet, Frenship High School senior Thomas Wylie was announced as a National Finalist for the National Chemistry Olympiad. Additionally, Nancy Schunke was named the society’s Chemistry Teacher of the Year.

FRENSHIP ISD ADOPTED A TAX RATE THAT WILL RAISE MORE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS THAN LAST YEAR'S TAX RATE. THE TAX RATE WILL EFFECTIVELY BE RAISED BY 4.873% PERCENT AND WILL RAISE TAXES FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS ON A $100,000 HOME BY APPROXIMATELY $48.73.
